Artist Statement

A focus on the actual facts of history is the strongest way to defend my hardened interpretations of democracy, violence and human rights. I feel it is my personal responsibility to expose the forgotten faces and overlooked facts that mainstream media ignores, to independently reveal that which is carefully excluded. In keeping with the history of political printmaking, I create linoleum and wood block prints for mass distribution, for sale on a sliding scale or for trade. All blocks are printed on a Vandercook letter press or are hand pressed.
